For Mrs. Rikki (Gurevitch) Altein, growing up in Brooklyn, an open home to all was a natural way of life. The time she spent at the heart of the Lubavitch movement imbued her with a sense of mission to devote her life to Jewish education and community. She graduated with distinction from Associated Beth Rivkah Schools in New York, and continued her post-graduate studies at Beit-Chana Teachers Seminary in Safed, Israel.
Rikki’s vivacious personality, coupled with her unique talents and people skills, has made her a highly sought-after teacher and community program leader throughout the United States and Europe.
The Altein's arrived in the fall of 2014 to lead the Chabad Center of Delaware County and are joined by their adorable children, sons Mendel & Shmuel and daughters Moussia, Chana, Shaina and Riva who have become very popular partners in their parents' work.
